Fiuggi is a still oligomineral water from the wooded Ernici hills of central Lazio, above the historic spa town that shares its name, some forty miles south-east of Rome. It carries an exceptionally light mineral load of around 120 mg/L, which makes it soft, near-neutral and almost weightless on the palate — a water made to be drunk freely and in quantity through a meal. Its lightness is the whole point: rather than a mineral backbone, it offers clean, unobtrusive refreshment. A water with deep roots in the region, it suits delicate food and easy all-day drinking.
