Artisanal Aqua
Radenska is drawn from springs at Radenci in northeastern Slovenia, exceptionally high in dissolved minerals. Known locally as the three hearts water, it has been bottled commercially since the 1860s. The mineral load is among the highest in the index.
At 3,500 mg/L Radenska sits well into the very rich band, far above the other waters here. The intense mineral concentration gives a pronounced, savoury character closer to a mineral tonic than a neutral table water. It is best with robust, salty and fatty food, where its strength is an asset rather than a distraction.
